Backstory

J'khebica Vhike was brought into the world at probably one of the worst timings for someone living in Gyr Abania - that being the period in which the Garlean Empire marched into the land, seizing control of Ala Mhigo and its occupying territory. Among those conscripted into service were her father and some whom she would have in another life considered her relatives - and through some completely undetermined means, she and some others were transplanted alongside the conscripts to nearby Werlyt, where she would consider her home even to this day. It's rather unknown as to where most of her biological family is, nor whether they would even be considered much of a tribe anymore, but as she grew up in Garlean-controlled territory, it eventually ended up being just her father whom she would have been able to be in contact with.As her young years went by, Khebica would be able to work rather quickly and efficiently with magitek - something that those of the military would not overlook. It was thankful that she grew up in Werlyt during the good years of its occupation, where reforms were made for the sake of lessening the risk of another rebellion that happened years prior. For many years then on, she would be stuck in grueling labor, having to assist in developing various magitek machinery, though among them, it was with vehicles in which she excelled. Reapers, minor airships, trains - she was stuck with the work and while it wasn't fully clear why she kept at it, she did just that.It was enough for her to be considered to be put into some more secretive work for the Empire, even after the changes in viceroy after the start of the recent Umbral Calamity... had it not been the intervention of the Eorzean Alliance coming in and taking control of her hometown of Terncliff. She had suddenly gotten freedom straight out of the blue. And after seeing what she nearly got put into - a project to recreate and make a better version of the Ultima Weapon - she would do what anyone wanting to rebel against such would do: join up with the Alliance and fight to retake the land she considered home for just about all her life. And besides, the recent viceroy had dismantled much of what made her childhood relatively peaceful. Screw Valens van Varro, man.When that time had come and the Weapon Project became completely dismantled, she got two things she wanted: the freedom of her land and being able to fully see her father once more. Throughout the time afterwards, she would stick around at home, whether it be to help rebuild Terncliff and Werlyt, take care of what looked to remain of her family, and work more on her craft. And honestly? She couldn't ask for more... until there ended up being a whole levin dome containing a new world of tech. Sure, there's a bunch of unrest and an event that she had to help protect people from caused her to require a bit of an overhaul of her physical form and a reconstruction of her arsenal but... something something new beginnings, right?

RP Hooks

- Khebica is a mechanic at heart. She is more than open to fixing up something broken, especially if it's some tidbit of magitek or a vehicle in repair.
- There may have been a chance hearing about her breaking down some weapons for the sake of using them for something other than its intended purpose.
- Khebica technically has missing family members. And while she isn't actively searching for any J Tribe members who got forcibly moved to Ilsabard and scattered about, any information of such Miqo'te would make her intrigued.
- She's got a rather solid interest in older tech, to a bit of an extent of collecting things as a hobby. Bonus points if they're either of Garlean or Alexandrian make.

> Ranged Atherotransforming Induction Launcher Gun (R.A.I.L. Gun, in-game model: Fomalhault) - Prototype sniper rifle firing high-speed bullets using a combination of Garlean magitek and Alexandrian electrope technology.Gunblades:
> Blazing Jackal (in-game model: Cerberus Fang) - Engine attached gunblade that is used for an increased amount of speed and flashy destructive potential..Drones:
> Miniature Electrope Remote-Controlled drones (M.E.R.C., in-game model: Metanoia, dyed Jet Black and Metallic Purple) - Constructed from a mix of magitek parts, electrope salvaged from the fighting in Shaaloani, and using nouliths as a base, the set of drones fire off bursts of levin to allow for suppressive fire.
> Hover-Assisted Interception Launchers (H.A.I.L., in-game models: Clockwork Chaser minions) - Using gobbietek as an aesthetic for these drones, the magitek fliers are capable of both long and close-range combat, as well as being able to drop Aurora cartridges for quick healing.Vehicles
> GL-II: Ceruleum-powered off-roader, often used in more harsh terrain.
> Modified Air-wheeler A9: Modified to support ceruleum fuel as a backup in the event that the levin from the electrope reserves run dry, acts as both an on-ground and flying vehicle - the latter able to be set up as a makeshift sniping perch.Other:
